On arriving at the hotel entrance our clients will be provided with a hand sanitizer prior to checking in. We have redesigned our reception which is Covid-19 safe by adhering to the social distance measures. The provision of the screen and contactless check in is an assurance of our safety measures in place.

Your key card has been sanitized and on making your way to your bedroom you will notice extra hand sanitizer units along the way, strategically placed near the dining areas and lounge bar. You will find distance floor markers at key areas such as the reception, dining areas, public toilets, exits etc.

All members of the Gables Hotel team, who have all been trained on the new way of operating in view of the pandemic have specific roles in cleaning public areas and surfaces frequently touched by guests and team members.

In your bedroom you’ll find High-touch areas, such as bathrooms and remote controls are disinfected and cleaned to a higher specification. Loose items such as pens, note pads and information material are removed from rooms along with tea and coffee and bathroom amenities.

For guests staying beyond one single night the option to receive limited cleaning services is available to offer this additional assurance of safety and cross contamination. Change of linen and towels, these could be on request only and dropped off at your bedroom door for you to collect. Special requirements will apply for guests who stay for longer periods and we will discuss with individuals where required.

Enjoy dining in the hotel is perhaps the biggest change and we have taken steps to ensure your safety, comfort without compromising on quality and standards. You can enjoy a room service or enjoy a drink and a snack within the lounge bar.

At the Gables Hotel we are pleased with space and we have adapted some areas of the hotel to comply with the new government recommended safety guidelines. As a result, we have limited the numbers of seats in our food service areas, public areas, lounges and bars. We do in fact have 5 different food service rooms, all superbly decorated to offer you safe physical distancing. We will offer you an enjoyable dining experience without compromising on the safety.

Whilst at the hotel if you need to use the bathroom, we firstly encourage our guests to return to their bedroom to do so or the public toilets can also be used. We have 2 sets of rest rooms and we have a programme in place for cleaning and sanitation after each use.

Covid-19 made us think more carefully on our client’s safety and when it comes to breakfast, we can provide individually packaged breakfast options which can be picked up on departure or delivered to your bedrooms. You can still enjoy a cooked breakfast in our dining areas and continental breakfast options can be ordered alongside cooked breakfast too.

Checking out is perhaps the easiest task as you can use our express check-out service by dropping your key card into the box at the end of your corridor and leaving at the nearest exit without having to go through the hotel to reception. We will email you your receipt and wish you a farewell until next time. Alternatively, you can check out at the newly redesign reception desk which will offer you contactless checkout. This will be most welcome as we would love the opportunity to thank you for staying with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

We have taken all necessary measures to ensure everyone’s safety but at the same time keep the Gables Hotel as friendly and easy to interact, navigate through and relax. Service, Standards and Quality is always on the forefront of our mind but SAFETY it has and always remains our priority.
